Dialogue for Descendants Presents: From Rescue to Reunion

This year’s annual symposium, part of HEW 2022, is a forum for action, connection, and engagement. The 3-part program will begin with a conversation with D4D’s co-founder and Holocaust educator Dori Ekstein, who serendipitously reconnected with the Ukrainian family who hid her mother. Jonny Daniels, Executive Director of From the Depths, an organization helping Holocaust survivors and Righteous Among the Nations in Europe, who connected Dori with her mother’s rescuer will provide insight into his important work. This will be followed by a talk and workshop with British descendent David Labi, a workshop designer, performer, facilitator, and coach. The program will conclude with Sharing Sessions exclusively for children of Holocaust survivors, moderated by psychotherapists and social workers.

This program is in partnership with March of the Living Canada and is open to March of the Living adult alumni.

* Please note: Sharing Sessions are exclusive to children of Holocaust survivors and/or their partners. General public is welcome to attend the rest of the program. Registration is required for this program.

Light breakfast included. Kashruth observed.
