Throughout her writing career, Kathy Kacer has interviewed dozens of Holocaust survivors and has learned more from them than she ever imagined. Not only have they inspired the books she has written, but they have taught her invaluable life lessons. 
Interspersed with slides and a discussion of several books, Kathy will talk about the lessons that these Holocaust survivors have taught her – lessons that can inspired us all.

A child of Holocaust survivors, Kathy Kacer has authored more than 20 books on Holocaust events. She has won numerous awards for books translated into twenty+ languages. Kathy teaches writing at University of Toronto. She speaks to children and educators internationally about the importance of understanding and remembering the Holocaust.
