This award-winning drama tells the intertwining story of three individuals: Olga, an aristocratic émigré and member of the French Resistance; Jules, a French collaborator; and Helmut, a high-ranking SS German officer. A powerful and starkly elegant examination of survival and sacrifice. 
Guest speaker: Artist and Author Bernice Eisenstein. 
Co-presented by Goethe Institut Toronto.

Bernice Eisenstein’s critically acclaimed graphic novel I Was a Child of Holocaust Survivors received the Jewish Book Award for Memoir (2007). Bernice was the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre's Artist in Residence for HEW 2014. Her artwork has appeared in exhibitions in Europe and in the United States.​
