Holocaust Centre Tours
You may book a tour of the Holocaust Centre of Toronto for your class, school group, or other group. We can accommodate small groups, or groups as large as 50.
We provide a two-hour program consisting of a guided tour of the Museum by a trained Docent. We show a multimedia presentation entitled "Out of the Depths" depicting Jewish Life before, during, and after the Holocaust which was custom-produced for our audiences. This presentation contains some graphic images and is appropriate for grades 8 and higher. The highlight of the tour is a living witness from the Holocaust, a survivor who shares with the students their personal testimony and experiences during the war years.
For younger groups, grades 4-7, we provide a similar two-hour program. An age-appropriate presentation entitled, "Daniel's Story". depicts the Holocaust from a young child's perspective.
Bookings are at 10:00am, 1:00pm, on Sundays 11:30am-4:30 pm as well as in the evenings by appointment. While there is no charge for group tours, a donation to support the Holocaust Centre's work is appreciated.
