The goals of the training program are to provide participants with an introduction to the pedagogy of teaching the Holocaust; to provide background on the use and value of the visual history testimony integrated into the curriculum; and to familiarize participants with the organization, contents (including the Web-based resources), and lesson plans of Echoes and Reflections. The curriculum is written for the high school level but can be easily adapted for middle school.
Please pass this notice and flyer along to anyone you know who may be interested. The curriculum is most often used by English/Language Arts and Social Studies/History teachers, however the workshop is open to all disciplines.
