The Frank and Anita Ekstein Holocaust Resource Collection
The Frank and Anita Ekstein Collection consists of nearly nine thousand volumes of books and an array of films, pedagogical materials and oral and written testimonies. Situated within the Ekstein Library is the David & Syma Forberg Media Centre. This collection of DVDs includes documentaries, biographies and feature films for children and adults related to Jewish life and culture, Jewish history, the Holocaust, contemporary Israel, and many other topics.
Holocaust survivor testimony on DVD can be viewed in our library. Our extensive collection consists of sixty-five recordings from the Shoah Visual History Foundation and 400 of the Centre’s own digital recordings (transcriptions are also available).
Your membership provides access to these comprehensive resources as well as professional librarian assistance. Graduate students and researchers will be able to search our extensive collection of survivor testimonies, both from the Shoah Foundation and our own collection.
